Informative presentation submissions

Designed to stimulate and inform attendees, informative session are ideal for presenters to disseminate state-of-the-art and cutting-edge developments and findings.

Please use the Informative submission template to draft your submission, then copy / paste into the submission portal

The online submission portal gathers the following information:

  • Title and type*
    • Presentation title
      (max 20 words)
    • Presentation style
      (dropdown menu)
  • Theme(s) based on WONCA groups*
    (multiple choice)
  • Author(s)*
    • Affiliation(s)
      • Name
      • Country
    • Author(s)
      • First name
      • Last name
      • Email address
  • Presentation content
    • Abstract summary*
      (max 300 words)
    • Key insights/takeaways*
      State how the key take aways of the session will contribute to attendees continuing professional development.
  • Additional information
    • Assumed knowledge of attendee
      (dropdown menu)
    • Keyword suggestions*
      Provide three (3) keywords or short phrases that capture the essence of your submission.
    • Conflict of interest/disclosure*
      (dropdown menu)

At any time in the process, you can save a draft of your submission and return to it later. We recommend preparing your submission in a Word document to save and edit them over time. You can then copy and paste your answers from Word into the relevant fields in the portal. 

All submission must be made via the relevant online submission portal. Emailed and incomplete submissions will not be reviewed or accepted.

To process your submission, you’ll need to gather the following information.

The online portal gathers the following information:

  • Your contact details
    • Title*
    • First name*
    • Last name*
    • Organisation
    • Email address*
    • Mobile number (including international country code)*
  • Promotion
    • Headshot (photograph)*
    • Biography*
    • Academic and professional profiles
      • LinkedIn URL
      • Website URL
  • Privacy and data sharing*

Once you have completed these details the online system will send you an email with personalised links to login to the submission portals.

Please read through the presentation styles and submission guidelines and instructions before preparing your submission. 


Prepare your submission following the submission guidelines, using this template as a guide. 

Apply to present

Only submissions completed in the WONCA 2023 submission portal by 11.59 pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), 16 February 2023 will be reviewed and considered for inclusion into the program. Emailed and incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
